Year 2 Brambles 

Daily Routine

8:45 - 9 Morning Challenges
9 - 9:30 Phonics and Spelling lessons
9:30 - 10:30 English
10:30 - 10:40 Daily Mile
11 - 12 Maths
1 - 2 Topic
2 - 2:15 Assembly
2:30 - 3 Reading lesson (shared or guided reading)
3 - 3:15 Class novel 

There are changes to this timetable on a Wednesday and Friday due to cricket lessons and Celebration Assembly. 

Important Dates

Dojo reward afternoon (bring a toy or teddy) - Friday 15th February

SATs Information Meeting - 11th February 3:30pm and 5:30pm

Class assembly -  1st March 

Homework 15th February-  MyMaths and spellings.


Reading books will be changed every Monday and Thursday. 

Homework will be given every Friday and should be completed by the following Wednesday. Maths and English homework will alternate each week. 

Spellings will be sent home every Monday and these will be tested on a Friday. 

PE is on a Wednesday (cricket in the morning and gymnastics in the afternoon).
